Why should you use psychological risk assessments?
Employers have a legal responsibility to respond to anything that creates a risk to the health and safety of their employees under the Health and Safety at Work Act (1974) and if you have five or more employees, you are required by law to write a risk assessment down.
Furthermore, mitigating risks will reduce negative impacts on business outcomes. Effective risk management can help your company thrive and create a trusting company culture that feels safe and supported at work.

We can risk assess for stress, burnout, poor mental health, environmental harm, and occupation-specific hazards and provide individual risk assessments for mental health conditions.

How does it work?
We use a 4-step consultation approach with our risk assessments to identify hazards, assess risks, control risks and review control measures.
We will consult with key-stakeholders or an individual at every step of the process and may involve virtual meetings or site visits where appropriate.

The training provided by Ellice from Mindset, has been brilliant. She has conducted Mental Health First Aid Training with several members of staff, with those involved expressing their gratitude and appreciation for the new skills that they have learned. Ellice has also given a presentation during Mental Health Awareness Week around this year’s theme, the subject of anxiety. Ellice made everything relatable and had a very interactive approach which made the topic accessible and was well received by colleagues.
Ellice has provided some webinars for us around the subject of mental health and stress reduction while working from home. She is a pleasure to work with, good with communication and made the whole process extremely easy.
The webinars were really well received. You can tell immediately Ellice’s is incredibly knowledgeable in the subject area and treats it with both passion and compassion. I look forward to working with Ellice more in the future.
