Making MHFA Work for Your Organisation

While MHFA is a powerful tool, it’s not always implemented effectively. Many organisations struggle with selecting the right people, providing appropriate support to employees, or safely integrating MHFAiders into their wider wellbeing strategy.

That’s why we don’t just deliver the training,  we help you make it work.

At Mindset, we offer:

  • Advice on selecting appropriate MHFAiders based on role, confidence and team dynamics

  • Post-training support and supervision to help MHFAiders feel confident and safe in their role

  • Upskilling workshops on topics like burnout, neurodiversity, and change

  • Policy and implementation guidance to embed MHFA within a wider wellbeing approach

These courses offer focused mental health training tailored to specific roles, sectors, or challenges in the workplace.

Includes:

  • Mental Health in HR Practice
Practical guidance for HR professionals navigating mental health conversations, performance management, returning to work and reasonable adjustments.

  • Mental Health in Higher and Further Education
Based on research and real-world practice, this course helps academic and support staff feel confident supporting student mental health.

  • Trauma-Informed Practice at Work
Designed for those working with individuals who may have experienced trauma — learn how to create emotionally safe interactions and avoid re-traumatisation.

  • Stress Risk Assessment Training
For HR, H&S and wellbeing leads who need to carry out stress risk assessments using the HSE framework. This session builds the knowledge and confidence to assess, document and respond to psychosocial risks effectively.

These workshops can be booked as stand-alone sessions or integrated into broader training programmes for leadership, support roles, or wellbeing leads.
